Welcome to our propaganda detection skills assessment. The entire process will take about 60 minutes and should be completed in one sitting on a large screen device, not a phone.

Informed Consent to Participate in Research
Purpose: To measure and improve your ability to recognize common propaganda techniques in authentic speech.
What you will do: A baseline assessment, a training activity, and a final assessment.
Risks/Discomforts: Minimal. You may encounter political speech you disagree with. You may stop at any time.
Benefits: No guaranteed benefit is expected. However, results may raise your awareness of propagandistic messaging.
Confidentiality: We do NOT collect names, email addresses, or IP addresses. Data are stored securely and linked only to your Connect Participant ID.
Voluntary: Participation is voluntary. You may stop at any time, but compensation is only provided for completion.
